Missouri Comprehensive Health Alliance

This health equity and justice coalition is composed of a range of health care professionals and community leaders who address medical and social determinates of health using an integrative/comprehensive approach. As the convener of this coalition, our specific purpose is to:

Develop new and competent health equity and justice leaders
Foster a culture of solidarity by supporting members’ work and jointly working on issues and projects
Conduct research and disseminate results to help members generate, implement, and assess evidence-based practical solutions
Assist members with garnering funding for research, as well as issue and legislative campaigns
Prioritize members’ rights to joy, rest, and individual/community healing

We host restorative experiences designed to help professionals and community leaders engage in self and community liberation work without succumbing to burnout and/or becoming disenchanted with community-driven work
